Before

(cracked, bent, too close to radiator) |

pump (end play and packing) |

Water level in radiator (plain water with anti-rust additive) |

Tire tread and inflation (35 psi) |

Wheels (cracks, wobbled out lug nut holes, hub tightness, lug nut
tightness) |

Rear axle nut (tightness and install new cotter keys) |
|

Front wheel bearings |
|
____
Steering (excessive play or tightness) |
|

Shock arms and links |
|

Head torque |
|

Distributor set screw |

Windshield wiper motor and blade (put Rain-X® on windshield) |

Lights-headlamps, parking, brake, tail, interior, turn signals (if

Generator - set at 2 to 10 amps (2 to 5 amps for long summer tours) |

Battery posts (cleaned) and battery water (distilled) |
